Every Time You Think a Negative Thought Replace It With a Positive One

If you actively think about what you are ACTUALLY thinking about, you'll be surprised on how negative your thoughts can be. You may be thinking who cares? It's not going to hurt anybody. Well, if you have ever looked into Emoto's water experiment, which I highly recommend you look up, is about how thoughts, ideas, and words actually influence things. I won't go into a whole ordeal on what that's about because you'll have to google it or Youtube it to see for yourself. It is very interesting. Pretty much to sum it up is that good thoughts produce good outcomes. The bad thoughts produce bad outcomes.

REALLY NOTICE YOUR NEGATIVE THOUGHTS
So first things first. Really dig deep on counting your negative thoughts. What kind of negative thoughts are you having? Write them down if you have to. You'll notice on how often you are thinking it without actually knowing that you do! How scary is that!?

REPLACE YOUR NEGATIVE THOUGHTS WITH POSITIVE ONES
I tell my brother this as he has really negative thoughts about himself and others. His past always creeps up on him everyday. I say, replace these thoughts with good ones. Think of good memories that made you laugh or smile. When your baby was born or the day you got married or graduating from college. Stuff like that. I usually think of my happiest moments such as when I got my acceptance letter to nursing school or when I volunteered at primary schools and helped children or the elderly.

I tell myself mantras,

"I love you and forgive you. I am thankful and grateful to the experience as it made me a better person. Love, peace, kindness. I let it all go."

"I am beautiful, strong, and confident. I am grateful. Thank you."

It's amazing how this has turned everything around. I noticed I say this on some days I would be saying it as much as 30 times a day. Yes, you could be saying it all day if you have too. It'll make a huge difference on your mood.

I know it can be a bit skeptical at first because I was too but after diving deep into learning about the law of attraction and Emoto's water experiment, I thought to myself why not? It didn't hurt to try and there was nothing to lose besides having positive thoughts about yourself.

100% Pure Brightening Serum review

Hello my bonbon beauties! I missed you all so much. It's been forever I know. I am so sorry. I am not a good blogger. I have been busy making Youtube videos for my new channel but I don't want to launch it just yet but in the future I would love to share it with you all. I am working on getting a new camera which is quite pricey. It's the Canon t3i. Have you heard of it? I've been working and focusing on finals these past few weeks. So much has happened like wow time flies when you are having fun. I've been working out almost everyday mostly weight training. I am learning Spanish and Korean. I just got a vitamix which I absolutely love love love! I can make all kinds of great recipes and smoothies with it. Like where have you been all mah life!? Lol.

Anyways, on to the meat of the blog post. I wanted to do a review of this serum that I got for free from 100% Pure because I purchased like 3 or 4 items in one purchase. I usually get replacements like my foundation and concealer and such. I don't usually get new products normally on my own but they sent me a whole bunch of goodies. They sent me 5 caffeine masks, a brightening serum, dark spot serum, and a coffee cherry moisturizer. All of which costs tons of money and I'm surprised I got them as free gifts!! Like wow!

This bad boy is worth 42 whopping dollars. I love the product but quite honestly I wouldn't get the serum for this amount. Keep in mind though this product is not going to brighten your face like instantly! It takes time. Like 2 to 3 months to see even the slightest result. The product feels amazing on my skin though and I like the texture. As always, they have amazing natural and organic ingredients. If I had to choose a brightening serum though I would definitely get it from 100% Pure and nobody else. Keep in  mind that I am not sponsored by this company in any way, shape, or form. I just love their natural ingredients.

I will do another review on my other free gifts for you lovely readers. For now, I will chat with you next time.

With so much love,
Ana Parque

3 Simple Tips In Having More Energy

Hey everyone!

I am so excited because I just got back from working out and drinking my favorite green smoothie. It made my day and wanted to share with you all about how I have more energy.

Here are 3 tips to having more energy without having to drink a gazillion sodas, energy drinks, and coffee. I no longer drink any of those things with the exception of one coffee a week because I like the taste of coffee but I don’t drink it everyday.

My first tip: is to drink more water.
It is recommended to drink 6 to 8 glasses of water a day.
I know this may be hard but it is vital to drink more water.
Water helps flush out toxins in the body. It helps clean out the nasty gunk in the body. It’ll give you more energy.

Second tip: Working out is vital to having more energy. For those who don’t work out at all, start off small like once or twice a week. For those already working out, up the number of times you go or stay longer. Cardio such as running and pilates help our bodies receive more oxygen to the brain and other vital organs.

Third tip: Take a multivitamin and enzymes. My favorite brands include Garden of Life Kind Organic Women’s Multivitamin and NOW super enzymes. You can find these on Amazon.com. What I like about the vitamin is that it is certified organic, non-GMO, vegan, and gluten free. The enzymes are great for helping with the digestive tract by helping you feel less bloated and taking the workload off of your pancreas.

My Favorite Eyelash Brand: Eylure

I absolutely love these fake lashes because they are very natural and light. I don't like the heavy eyelashes because I have small eyes and it just would look so fake and obvious.

I buy the ones in packs of three from Amazon.com. Click on link below to get yours!!! It is only 10 dollars before tax and shipping.

Feedback From My Followers

I would love to hear feedback from you guys. What would you guys like to see more of? Is there anything I can improve on?

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far!

My Favorite Brand Of Carpet Cleaner

It's called Naturally It's Clean brand. It's funny because I got it at the store with not-so-high hopes for the product because I've bought natural cleaning products that don't work as well and I've bought some that did. Well this one does a wonderful job! I am so glad I invested my money in this product. I have only bought the carpet cleaner and it gets stains out really well. All you have to do is spray some product on the stain in the carpet and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes, if that. Voila! The stain is gone.

What To Do When You're Feeling Down

There are days when I am feeling down. Actually there are a lot of them! What do you do when you feel this way? A mixture of feeling hopeless, depressed, and tired is not a good mixture for a day. It makes you less productive and maybe even stressed. I feel overwhelmed when in actuality there is nothing wrong with my life. I can't complain. I am happy with my apartment, family, work, and school situations. The days I realize when I am eating the least healthy and getting lack of sleep are the worst days for me. I am usually a energetic and happy-go-lucky gal. Today has been rough for me emotionally because I haven't had any sleep. When I don't get sleep I get depressed.

Here are some tips to help uplift your day:

Drink lots of water

Exercise like going to the gym or going outdoors.

Sleep more!

Eat fruits and veggies

Hang out with friends or family and talk it out.

Remember the good sides to everything in your life and not focus on the bad things.

Go out and do something instead of sulking at home with the computer on your lap.

A lot of people resort to bad habits and they party, drink, smoke their problems away. This is really unhealthy and in the long run can really damage your body.

I hope these tips helped you. Let me know what some of your ways on turning your frown upside down.

Banish: Acne Scars Derma Rolling Review

So I've had these acne scars on the sides of my cheeks which isn't really noticeable when I don't wear makeup. I've always had a problem with acne since I was a teenager. The funny thing is though I continue having these problems and I'm almost 30!! I thought they were supposed to go away. I found this company that has a product that fixes these problems. Have you heard of derma-rolling? There are procedures done at the dermatologist. It's actually very similar to the derma-roller.

I ordered the kit for 69 US dollars. It was a great deal considering you got a derma roller. I got the 0.5 micro needle size. Don't get the beginner roller that's 0.2 because supposedly reading online that the 0.2 is too small to make any real difference on your skin. It doesn't rebuild the collagen, etc. Anyways, also in the kit it includes vitamin C serum, a little cup, and a bag to keep all the stuff in.

I've used the roller off and on for a couple months now and I see a slight difference. Keep in mind when you use the roller that it does hurt a bit and I've seen people use a pain relieving cream such as emla or some kind of lidocaine mixed cream before applying the roller.

Healthy Inspiration

All of these ladies are an inspiration for me when it comes to health and fitness.
I know we can all do it guys!

BEET JUICING

I love beets. Ever since I got my omega juicer I've been juicing at least once or twice a week. It's a great machine! It is a bit pricey like about 200 dollars but I love the quality of the juice when I'm done with it. If you want a natural energy drink then drinking beet juice is the way to go. Now I do mix it with organic orange juice and mix it up so it won't be so bitter.

How To Get More Energy: 2 STEPS

Have you ever asked yourself, "how do I become a better person?" It's essentially saying how do I become like this person and it's someone they admire. Anyone can be more attractive in a sense where people can be drawn to your personality. Less fatigue and more energy is the end goal to being more attractive as a person. I want to reveal my answers here in this blog post simply because I know if those around me can follow these simple steps then their life will be drastically better. It's only two tips but that doesn't mean that's all of it. I wanted to break it down to two easy things you can do to have more energy and vitality in your life.

Number one: Eat Better
I believe that diet is the most important tip on here. If there is one thing you can do from this list then I rather you eat healthy because this will affect everything else like a trickle-down-effect.  If you eat healthier then you can change your life around and do a lot more. Back in 2011 I decided to make the change to vegetarianism. My reasoning was at the time was that I wanted to stop eating at fast food restaurants. I loved to eat! The problem was that I didn't control what I ate. I hardly ate any fruits or vegetables. I drink very little water and my health was in poor shape. So, if you can cut out sodas and replace them with unsweet teas and water that will make a drastic difference! Lemon water or water with a spoonful of apple cider vinegar is my absolute favorites right now. It's great for detoxing your body and cleansing. You'll feel like you have more energy which is essentially what you want! I challenge you to a 30 day lemon water challenge. Drink lemon water every morning and if you can throughout the day. Another easy thing you can do is cut out fried foods and desserts because those slow your body down. Replace sweet things with fruits to snack on.

Number two: Get enough sleep
I see way too many people not get enough sleep and this affects their performance at school, at work, and in a social setting. You'll tend to make more mistakes and not be at your best. I'm guilty of this and I sometimes don't get enough sleep and it affects my work performance. Sleep is important to help your body heal. Try reading a book or do some meditation or relaxation techniques before you go to bed. Avoid drinking alcohol and stimulating activities such as exercising and watching tv at night. This can actually keep you up! It's best to do a quiet activity at night such as listening to soothing music, aromatherapy, hot bath, etc.

There are a lot more factors involved in becoming a better person such as placing yourself at a higher value, be interested instead of interesting but I want to emphasize small steps that will end up getting you there a lot faster. If you do this for a month you'll feel like you will have more energy and want more of it. I can share more tips on top of this that worked for me. I feel like I have so much energy now because I've been taking care of my body.

Skiing, Snow, & More!

As a part of my new years resolution I wanted to go out and do more this year. I wanted to meet new people and do things I haven't done before. So I decided to take a trip. Yes, I said it. I have not left Texas for so long that I felt like I have been caged in my own state. As much as I loved it here, I really needed a break. I've locked myself up for the past couple of years studying and working hard and decided to reward myself. My lovely friend flew me out to his place in CO. I went skiing for the first time and of course I had a few falls *coughs* more like fifty of them but it was so worth it. I didn't hurt myself, thank goodness! I really want to do it again. To ski for the day was like 150 US dollars. It was expensive if you ask me. The membership is 650 dollars for the year which is a better deal since you can ski at anytime. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to do something new.

My Ultimate Favorite Vitamin And Enzymes!!

Hello everyone!

*Looks at non-existing watch*
Time flies! I can't believe it's January 2015! Happy new year to everyone. I am so sorry I haven't been on lately but I'll try to make it happen this year. I've been making excuses last semester and I will try my best to do better. YAY for new years resolutions. It gives us a chance to push harder and reflect back on ways to improve and what accomplishments we have achieved. There was lots happening last year and I can't believe that it's just getting better and better.

Latest news

I am still working full time and going to school. That has not changed. -_- One of these days I will be working part time and focusing on what I love to do which is blogging full time.

Hmmmm, other news.....No, I don't have a boyfriend. Sniff! Every time I walk by the Valentine's candy, it makes me cry! JK. Hehe. I feel like I don't have time for a boyfriend right now.

During my free time I've been trying to learn Korean. I do small workouts every other day still which include leg weights, donkey kicks, etc. I've been trying to incorporate sit ups and push ups to build upper strength and a flatter stomach.

My diet has been falling behind but I'm trying to get back on the wagon as to eat more fruits and veggies. I usually eat the same things everyday which consist of brown rice, eggs, tomatoes, and apples right now. I need more orange juice, beets, and greens.

I started incorporating vitamins and super enzymes into my daily routine because I started feeling sluggish and fatigued all the time.
I love this vitamin (called Garden of Life mykind Organic vitamin) which I found at Sprouts randomly one day and it was on sale. It cost me 54 dollars and it dropped from 75? I was like what a bargain! Then I found it on Amazon for even cheaper like 44 dollars. I was like whaaaaaaa?!!!! Why didn't I check here first?! But if it wasn't for sprouts then I wouldn't have known about it. THANK YOU SPROUTS!
Click no the photo below for the amazon link.

What I liked about this vitamin was that it is organic, non-GMO, and made from real fruits and veggies. It's packed full of the vitamins you need. There is both a men and a women's vitamin in this brand.

The next item which is the super enzyme that I take with meals is absolutely amazing. I feel less bloated and sluggish in the mornings. Enzymes are great for you because as you get older your pancreas and liver gets not worn out per se but it is not as efficient at secreting enzymes as you get older. This is to help increase the break down of foods into their parts such as carbohydrates into sugar, fat into the fatty acids, and the protein into amino acids. Our bodies take a great deal of energy to break these down and so taking enzymes takes the load off your body. If you ever have indigestion issues this is a great natural way to help with that. Here is the link below to get yours at Amazon for very cheap. I use the NOW brand but of course you can buy whatever brand you like since there are several out there.

click the photo below for the amazon link.

I cut out coffee and energy drinks. I am no longer a crazy coffee addict! WOOOOT! Well, minus the crazy. ^_~

I'm glad to be back with you all and hope to write more reviews and hear your opinions. I'll see you in the next blog post!

100% Pure Creamy Long Last Liner In Blackest

Thank you so much 100% Pure for coming out with pencil liners! I guess it took them this long to figure out that some of us gals needed the good ol' fashioned pencil for our eyes. I own the liquid liner which is my absolute FAVORITE item from 100% Pure. I own a lot of their products from the primer, liquid foundation, tinted moisturizer, powder, 10 of their eyeshadows, naked palettes, blues, lip and cheek tints, mascaras, lip cremes, etc..

100% Pure Liquid Liner: $25

I ordered the pencil liner because I didn't want to use the liquid liner everyday as it can really make my eyes stand out. I like using it for when I am not at work. I wanted something with a little more control where I make feather like strokes and make a more lighter smoky eye. Also, you can't really use the liquid liner for your brows. =P

100% Pure Creamy Liner in Blackest: $22

Unfortunately this liner is quite expensive compared to your drugstore eyeliner which can range from 7 to 10 dollars. BUT! In return for the expense you are acquiring a chemical free eyeliner. Many of the drug store chemicals can be irritating and contain parabens which are cancer causing agents. The ingredients are made from a variety of plant oils, vitamin e oil, and mica which is what gives it the dark color.

This arrived in the mail today! I ordered three of these babies and I'm so excited to try them.

(it cost me a whopping $66 but it's so worth it!)

I personally recommend this eyeliner as it has a smoother and darker texture. I used the Juicebeauty brand below which is $16. It has a lighter and waxier texture. I did not use it for my eyes but for my eyebrows and it did the job. It's also all natural and free from harsh chemicals. It depends on how you like the texture. I personally would spend the extra $6 on the 100% Pure brand.

My Morning Breakfast: Breakfast of Champions

Here is my simple breakfast this morning. I love fruits and vegetables!

I have eggs because of the complete amino acids and B12. Especially B12 since this doesn't exist in plant items so I have to get this through my eggs and fish. These are essential building blocks of new cells for your body.

Raw beets and OJ "smoothie"

Raw tomato. Sauteed collard greens in organic refined coconut oil. Cantaloupe for dessert. :-)

I steer clear of most flour and wheat products. Eating as raw as possible is very important for your body.

What are your favorite breakfast items?

Bye-bye Curler! All Natural Curls Without Heat

You can get beautiful bouncy curls just like Jessica Alba here without all the expenses of perming, curlers, chemicals, or salons! You can do this all naturally without heat or chemicals.

Okay so I decided one day that I wanted to curl my hair without using the iron. I own the brand Remington curling wand [1/2'' to 1'']as pictured below. It only cost me 25 US dollars as of July 2014. I actually got this at Wal-mart (I don't shop there often because I tend to buy my items online). Here is the link to their online store for this wand.

I love this wand actually. It comes with a black glove and please use it because it is extremely easy to burn yourself. I don't care how good you are with the curler! =P I hate the old style curlers that clamp on because they don't produce a natural looking curl. Here's an example pictured below.

Not my favorite curler.

But...

I noticed my hair getting just a bit damaged from the heat produced from the straightener and curler that I own. I do use it quite often. I also noticed that it took me hours to get my hair done because I have very thick hair. I mean very THICK! I almost despise having thick hair. All the thin haired people are going to be like whaaaaaaa?!!!! Lol.

So I started watching all kinds of Youtube videos on curling. There are so many different techniques! All in all, I ended up doing the one where you start off with one strand of hair and twisting it into a ball and tying it with a rubber band. You'll have several of these on your head. Make sure to part different areas of your head. It'll be time consuming the first time you do it but after that you'll get the hang of it and it'll be much faster. I promise!

I do something similar to this.

I absolutely love these new curls that I've been doing and it's all natural with no heat. I don't even use hairspray because it doesn't really need it. You'll see people use hairspray in the tutorials but I wouldn't recommend it.

There are tons of different and fancy ways to do curls with no heat. My tip is go with something easy and simple at first and then work your way to different ones like sock, straws, cocoon curls, etc. Let me know how that goes!  I love the creative and fun ways people are coming up with doing different tasks.

Benefit: No damage to hair. It's all natural. It's inexpensive. Easy to do.
Cons: Time consuming. Learning curve.

Remember one thing though while doing this type of curling. Use freshly washed hair that is fairly dry. It can not be too damp. Do not blow dry either. The curls are not going to be bouncy and soft. Another tip is to do it after a shower and your hair is almost dry (like 90%) and tie your hair into twisty balls and sleep on it. Make sure each one is secure and you'll wake up in the morning with all natural curls.

What are your favorite ways of curling or styling hair?

100% Pure Concealer Review

As you guys already know, I'm a huge fan of 100% Pure products. I love to do their reviews on here so others would get a sense of what the product is like before they purchase it. As you can see from above they have three wonderful concealers to choose from. You were probably thinking the same thing as I was wondering which one to pick. I have not tried the brightening concealer yet but it is one I have to try very soon. I have tried and bought both long last concealer and everywhere concealer. Both have different purposes and perks. I'll briefly go over each product for you. ^^

Personally, I like to use them both at the same time because they are both different consistencies. The long last concealer is thicker and you're able to build up on it better hence better coverage on those scars, blemishes, etc.... I noticed that it's not so good on my drier areas of the face but if you moisturize and put on some primer then it should work out better and be more even.

The everywhere concealer is slightly sheerer and more liquid based. It's much better for those highlight areas or drier areas of the face. I use this mainly on my forehead and the bridge of my nose. I also use it on the top of my cheeks. Sometimes I use it on my under eyes. I don't usually use it for blemishes or scars as it still shows through no matter how much you build on it using this concealer.

So you still don't know which one to get. I personally would recommend both items. They both blend in well together. There are days where you'll need both! If you had to go with one first then maybe the Long Last Concealer because most of us get concealers because we have blemishes or scars to hide. The only downside is that it will cost more even though it is 21 dollars compared to the 25 dollars of the Everywhere concealer. The Everywhere concealer has 5x the amount of product compared to the Long Last. (Everywhere is 0.5 oz compared to 0.1 oz for the Long Last)

Here I have both the concealers on in peach bisque. :) :) :)

So whatever you decide I hope this review helped some of you guys out there in getting the right product for you! I will do a review soon over the brightening concealer. Thanks for reading and good luck!
